Life & work Experience:
As the spouse of a career military service member, one thing I know a lot about is changing addresses! I had the opportunity to live in many different parts of our great country and when my husband retired from the Air Force, our family had an important decision to make - choosing where to permanently settle down and plant roots. The word 'home' means so much more to us than the house we live in - we were looking for a community to call 'home'. In no time at all, we decided Colorado Springs was the perfect fit for us and officially made it our 'home town'. As a Realtor, I now have the unique opportunity to help people find the place they can comfortably call 'home'. It is a privilege to work with clients as they make this important decision in their lives.
I always knew that travel was part of being in a military family and chose a career path that would fit with this lifestyle as an entrepreneur in the sales industry. Over the past 19 years, being a business owner has given me invaluable experience in the business world including; developing sales goals, budgets and forecasts, successfully implementing strategic plans to meet and exceed these goals, building and managing teams and delivering the utmost excellence in customer service. Most importantly, being a business owner has given me the opportunity to work directly with people and make an impact in their lives.
In 2003, I began working for an award winning home builder, assisting clients building new homes in various community developments. What I found most rewarding about this work was helping individuals and families begin their future by building a new home and sense of community. I decided to take my career to the next level by joining the RE/MAX Advantage office. I now have the pleasure of introducing clients to all of their options, including showcasing the variety of builders and looking at both new and resale properties. I serve as an advisor to my clients through each step of the home buying and selling process and make it as easy as possible.
My husband, children and I enjoy being actively involved around town: from managing sports programs, sponsoring activities with the schools, volunteering with local organizations, to organizing and managing fund raising efforts. Through the years, I served as a Girl Scout leader, gymnastics booster club member and a board member for the Officers Spouses Club. Our family supports the Air Force Academy Cadet Sponsorship Program, serving as a sponsor family for several cadets training to become military officers. With each new experience, we meet incredible people and families that make this such a wonderful community to live, work and play. Giving back is another way our family can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and each time we do, we receive so much more in return. We are proud to call Colorado Springs our home!

Until I moved to Colorado, I had the opportunity to move 6 times and understand how over-whelming the important decisions are that you can face. That is why it is my pleasure to assist you on your journey to find a home for you and your family.
I have enjoyed a life time of community involvement as a volunteer for every school district I have ever lived in; to include service as a PTA President while my daughter attended one of the Colorado Springs schools and the Chair of numerous community and school based activities. In Colorado Springs you will find some of the most outstanding school systems in the United States.
Although I am a native of Illinois, I fell in love with the optimum weather found in the Colorado Springs area, where you will find many opportunities for recreational activities. Skiing and golf are amongst my favorites, and of course, I always make time to enjoy the mountain scenery.
